We've brought together the top healthcare marketing organizations to make this vision a reality, with a team of experts in managed care, technology, and ROI design. </div> Title: Senior Staff Accountant Direct Manager Title: Accounting Manager The Role The Senior Accountant, serving as an integral member of the accounting team, will help lead the month-end close process, ensure financial statement accuracy, maintain strong internal controls, and provide financial analysis for decision-making. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager. What You’ll Do <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Perform general accounting functions, including financial reporting and analysis (month-end close, consolidation reports, etc.) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Assist in preparation of a variance analysis for P & L and balance sheet. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Update daily cash report and assist with cash forecasting. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Responsible for monitoring A/R accounts: Detecting overdue payments and managing payments and refunds. . </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Communicate with customers: Contacting customers to discuss debts and answer questions. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Develop measures: Creating measures to encourage timely payments. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Process payroll, including tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and other adjustments. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Lead sales tax reporting and filing. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Assist with year-end financial statement audit requests. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Support senior management with ad hoc financial reporting, analysis, and projects as needed. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Supervise and train junior staff as needed. </li></ul> Ideal Qualifications <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, combined with 4-6 years of public/private industry accounting experience.
