The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting system and records, maintaining accounting schedules, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, and providing data and support for tax filings and audits. This role requires a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with the team members, and both internal and external stakeholders. What will you be doing as a Manager, Accounting at SimSpace? <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Own the monthly close process in NetSuite <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Post monthly journal entries for revenue, expense, and balance sheet accounts </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Maintain offline close schedules in Excel </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Reconcile accounts and make adjustments as necessary </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure financial statement accuracy </li></ul></li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Oversee AR and AP to ensure payables and invoices are handled in a timely manner <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Manage AR/AP specialist </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure relevant activity is properly captured in NetSuite </li></ul></li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Support annual corporate tax filings </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Complete monthly and quarterly sales tax filings </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Support annual audit </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Interact with external technical accounting advisors, tax team, and auditors </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Support and implement process improvement and automation projects </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Work with leadership to establish and implement internal controls </li></ul> What are the qualifications to apply?
