The ideal candidate will possess a blend of financial expertise, data-driven decision-making skills, and a deep understanding of operational optimization. Key Responsibilities: Strategy and Planning <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Revenue Forecasting: Develop accurate revenue forecasts based on historical data and market trends </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine the go-to-market strategy </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve the efficiency of revenue-generating processes </li></ul> Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Collaborate with leaders in Engineering and G & A to develop budgets, forecasts, and KPIs. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Support decision-making with business judgment and financial insights to align resource allocation with company goals. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Monitor monthly results, analyzing variances and identifying risks and opportunities. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Provide financial updates and variance analyses to the executive team and Board of Directors. </li></ul> Financial Modeling and Operations <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> FP & A: Manage the annual budget, forecast updates, and variance analysis. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Accounting: Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and account reconciliation. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and tax reports. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Enhance financial models, incorporating them into a comprehensive 3-statement model (P & L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement). </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Cash & Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Cost Management: Control costs to enhance profitability </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Deliver critical insights through these models to inform investment decisions </li></ul> Financial Analysis <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Lead projects focused on ROI-based resource allocation, operational efficiency, and capital initiatives. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Create business cases to implement capital efficiency projects, adapting quickly to various tasks as part of a lean finance team. </li></ul> Financial Processes <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Assist in scaling the company’s financial infrastructure as we grow, implementing scalable tools and processes </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Systems & Technology: Align finance systems with business needs, optimizing the quote-to-cash process </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Data Analytics: Maintain data accuracy and define KPIs for development, sales, marketing, and customer success </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Compensation Strategy: Develop sales compensation plans </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strategic Planning: Support go-to-market strategy, revenue forecasting, and performance optimization </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Drive a culture of accountability through process enhancements </li></ul> Corporate Development <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Participate in fundraising, corporate development, and partnership analysis, working collaboratively across teams to support growth. </li></ul> About You <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Consistent Track Record of Excellence: You have an MBA and 2-4 years experience in venture capital, private equity or Investment banking </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> SaaS experience: you understand subscription revenue models deeply </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Exceptional Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: You can dive into complex issues, derive accurate insights, and make actionable recommendations. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Outstanding Communication & Relationship-Building Skills: You convey complex analyses with clarity, whether in formal presentations or emails to stakeholders.
