You will play a key role in the business and will have responsibility for ensuring all payrolls are processed on time, accurately, and in accordance with contracts and local legislation. </div><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"></p><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> What will your day look like? You will... </div><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Prepare and oversee In-House and Outsourced end-to-end local payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing for the Americas </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Establish and maintain strong relationships with local payroll vendors to ensure seamless payroll delivery </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax laws, and social security requirements in each jurisdiction </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Perform equity management administrative tasks </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of payroll operations </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Execute payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure consistent practices and compliance </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Stay updated with evolving global and local payroll regulations as they relate to the Americas </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, financial reporting, tax, legal and IT, to streamline payroll processes and data integration </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are met </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Execute recurring payroll audit and compliance tasks </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Perform monthly payroll GL reconciliations and provide support to financial reporting team </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Support global payroll projects, such as system implementations, upgrades, and payroll optimisation initiatives </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Coordinate year-end payroll processes, including country specific tax reporting, annual statements, and compliance filings </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Support internal business and employee payroll related queries </li></ul><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"></p><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> What you will bring; </div><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 5+ years experience as a Payroll Specialist/Analyst or similar role, supporting payroll operations </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience in equity operations a bonus </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Fluency in Spanish is a bonus </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong understanding of international payroll practices, accounting, regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements across multiple countries and regions </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong understanding of international statutory deductions, tax rates, social security requirements, and benefits regulations </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience in dealing with external payroll service providers and vendors </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Proficiency in using payroll software or systems for end-to-end payroll processing </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Understanding of HRIS systems and their integration with payroll systems </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong analytical skills to assess payroll accounting data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements in handling employee information </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with a customer-centric mindset </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Relevant certifications in payroll and/or equity management or related fields are advantageous </li></ul><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Why Cover Genius? </strong></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Cover Genius not only cares about being the best in our industry, we care about our team.
