The Opportunity As a Senior Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer with strong expertise in modern Frontend technologies, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Design System and improving cross-team collaboration, while also providing support to fellow developers and designers. What You'll Do: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Build and maintain our Design System using ViewComponents, StimulusJS, and BEM CSS methodologies to ensure consistency and scalability across our applications. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Detect interface patterns and how to best solve them </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure that our website is accessible </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Work to create performant and easy to maintain code </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Actively improve our tools, processes and best practices </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Take ownership of feature delivery from concept to production </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Write well-tested and well-architected code </li></ul> What You'll Have: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Developed and shipped web applications using Ruby on Rails </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience working with modern Rails Frontend technologies like Hotwire (Turbo and StimulusJS) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> An understanding of design principles & experience with working with great designers </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Capable of taking on full features from concept to production with minimal to no supervision </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 5+ years of experience as a web developer, including 2+ as a Senior Frontend developer </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Fluency in JavaScript, CSS3 & HTML5 </li></ul> Our Tech Stack: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Full-stack Ruby on Rails (Frontend & Backend) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Hotwire (Turbo and StimulusJS) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> ViewComponents </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Redis </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Sidekiq </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> PostgreSQL </li></ul> Why Join Us At Wrapbook, creativity meets technology — and not just in the product.
