We are remote-first, but can also work from offices in Berlin, Lisbon, and London </p><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> About the Position </strong></p><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> As the DevOps/SRE Team Lead, you will lead a team of 5 DevOps/SRE engineers responsible for maintaining the infrastructure and tools that support the development of Parity’s Polkadot SDK. Within the Product Engineering department, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. Your leadership and expertise will play a crucial role in advancing automation, enhancing efficiency, and optimising the performance of our entire technology stack. </p><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Lead a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Define and implement best practices for infrastructure automation, continuous delivery and cloud operations </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Provide strategic direction and contribute to the overall technology roadmap </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Drive the adoption of DevOps culture, practices, and tools across the organisation </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Collaborate with software development teams to streamline the build, deployment, and release processes </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Establish and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system reliability and availability </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and productivity </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritise projects, and communicate progress </li></ul><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> About You </div><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with multiple cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, OVH, Scaleway, etc. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience leveraging Infrastructure as Code (eg. Terraform, Ansible) and GitOps (eg.
