We’re just getting started—join us on our journey to make mental healthcare accessible to everyone, everywhere. </div> We’re looking for a new leader in our business intelligence (BI) organization to continue to shape our embedded analyst program at Spring Health. This is a player coach role. You will directly collaborate closely with the billing team to streamline billing and payment processes, improve reporting around billing, and drive revenue collection. Additionally, this leader will manage a team of five embedded analysts across various product teams and marketing, revenue operations, and finance. You will have the opportunity to shape the way our embedded analyst team integrates with our product teams, partnering closely with other data science teams and analytics engineering teams. What you’ll be doing <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> [IC] Work with the billing team to understand their current data landscape, learn about the team's data needs and current pain points, and develop a design for a revised data infrastructure that addresses these issues </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> [IC] Collaborate with the core BI and data engineering teams to implement the revised data infrastructure design in dbt </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> [IC] Use the revised data infrastructure to build out the tools, analyses, and dashboards that will enable the RCM team to track key claims metrics, assess the payer trends and efficacy of our claims revenue cycle, and enable the team to quickly identify drivers of poor efficiency in the process </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> [IC] Enhance data visibility and streamline billing processes to reduce days sales outstanding and improve revenue collection. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> [IC] Automate manual steps in billing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> [MGMT] Manage and grow a team of five embedded analysts across multiple product and business areas, including marketing, revenue operations, and finance. This includes 1:1s, performance reviews, etc. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> [MGMT] Work with the director of business intelligence to continue to refine the embedded analyst program, with a focus on growing skills and expertise on the team specifically in the area of product analytics. </li></ul> What success looks like in this role: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Reduce the amount of time teams spend manually pulling data to inform decisions </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Develop tools and analyses that enable the billing team to hit their own KPIs - you’re successful when you help your team be successful! </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Continue to grow and mentor the team of analysts you manage, building technical and soft skills and enabling them to increase the impact they can deliver to their own teams </li></ul> What we expect from you <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You are passionate about changing the face of mental health care and Spring Health’s mission to remove all barriers to mental health resonates with you </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You have 10+ years of working experience working with data, data visualization, and dashboarding tools </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You have 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring a team of data analysts </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You have experience working with product teams to help them understand how their product is being used, ultimately informing what new features we need to build to hit our KPIs </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You are an expert in SQL, and are excited to continue to scale our dbt models and mentor your team of analysts on the same </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You have experience working with Looker or other similar data visualization tools (tableau, etc), both creating the data model and building dashboards </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You have strong user empathy - you can deeply understand the core issues stakeholders are having and translate them into solutions that meaningfully improve their ability to operate </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You focus on impact, finding the things you that deliver the most value for your stakeholders </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You have exceptional communication skills, and are comfortable working independently with executive level team members </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You are humble, highly motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You have a proven ability to proactively manage your own priorities and dependencies in alignment with cross-functional dependencies and product/business impact </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You have a passion for successfully navigating ambiguous problem areas and learning new approaches </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You see prioritization as a tool to maximize your impact, and can help your reports identify the right set of things to do (and more importantly, not do) </li></ul> The target base salary range for this position is $147,800 - $171,650 , and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
