<div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0">Description How will this role have an impact: Signify Health is looking for a passionate Cloud Operations Engineer(CloudOps) to enhance our dynamic CloudOps team. In this role you will report to the VP of Cloud Operations and SRE. We welcome individuals from different technical backgrounds, especially software engineers aspiring to transition into CloudOps/DevOps roles. What will you do? <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Plan, design and implement resilient, secured, and high-performance cloud-based infrastructure. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Automate the provisioning of cloud environments through the concept of pipeline engineering using Terraform and other tools. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Manage private and public cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Assist in creation of preventative automation and standards to reduce production infrastructure incidents </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Demonstrate exceptional team-work, technical ability and problem-solving skills. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Implement new cloud-based initiatives, support on-going cost reduction and performance enhancement efforts. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations on new technologies and architecture as needed to help the company excel. </li></ul> We are looking for someone with: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 2-3 years of professional experience in a Cloud Engineer role or related engineer position; servicing customers, clients or business units. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible and other tools for automating infrastructure provisioning. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like New Relic,etc. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Coordinate changes with internal support teams and leverage existing change management processes. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Professional interest in cloud infrastructure, emerging technologies, and its impact on greater business practices. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Certification as an Azure Administrator/Architect Certification, AWS Solutions Architect and/or Associate GCP certifications. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Working knowledge of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with scripting and programming to automate repetitive tasks. - PowerShell, Bash and Python. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Redhat linux, Ubuntu and Windows Server. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s degree a plus. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence is a plus </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Serving in a weekly rotation of 24/7 on call support (approximately one out of four weeks) </li></ul> Basic Qualifications we are looking for: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience, with an emphasis on SRE/DevOps </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Practical experience with Azure or AWS, and Terraform </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Working knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS/EKS preferred) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Familiarity with the deployment of CI/CD systems and practices. </li></ul> The base salary hiring range for this position is $72,100 to $125,600 . Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
