What We're Looking For We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead and coach a team of stellar Software Engineers for some of our products and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a technical background as Software Engineer. Key Responsibilities: Lead Operations of a cross-functional engineering team (30-50%) <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure team health and performance across various metrics (Team & Org Health, Quality-of-Service, Product/Business, Dev Performance, Data Quality, Cost). </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Proactively identify and address risks and blockers. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Drive improvements in practices, processes, and ways of working. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Support team growth through onboarding, feedback, coaching, and performance management. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Oversee the hiring process for the team. </li></ul> Strategy, Planning, and Alignment (40-50%) <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Align team vision, mission, and strategy with Product Manager(s). </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Collaborate with Product and Project Managers on goal setting, roadmap planning, and execution. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Align teams on strategy and manage stakeholder expectations. </li></ul> Designing & Building Software (0-20%) <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Stay close to technical details to lead operations and ensure quality. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and key technical decisions without being on the critical path of delivery. </li></ul> Required skills: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Proven impact as an Engineering Manager or equivalent role, leading cross-functional engineering teams. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Passion for simplicity, efficiency, and enhanced performance with a pragmatic approach. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong skills in managing partnerships and resolving conflicts. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Expertise in addressing technology-related challenges similar to those faced by our team. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Robust background in technical fundamentals, including Software Engineering/DevOps/Cloud Solutions. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to manage engineering teams and scale system components worldwide. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Structured, analytical approach with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Excellent problem-solving abilities. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Professional working proficiency in English. </li></ul> Candidate journey ⭕️ Recruiter call -- > ⭕️ Meet a team member -- > ⭕️ Skills assessment-- > ⭕️ Meet the Leadership team Why You'll Love Working at Welltech: ✨ Why You’ll Love Being Part of Welltech: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Grow Together : Join a culture that champions both personal and professional growth.
