What You Will Do <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensuring that our experiences are high quality, setting us apart from our competition </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Create and execute comprehensive test plans ensuring everything is functioning correctly </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Writing clear and concise bug reports and providing all relevant supporting information such as screenshots, videos, and game logs </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Working with various departments to gain a full understanding of all systems and game mechanics used in QA environments </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Communicating with other QA Team members during multiplayer tests to ensure nothing is missed </li></ul> Responsibilities <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Testing games and applications across various devices, quickly learning and retaining the knowledge of each </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Finding, reproducing, and reporting issues in detailed bug reports </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Examining and reproducing existing issues </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Providing clear and concise critical analysis and feedback when requested </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Learning about and adhering to our internal systems, software, and processes </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Liaising with other team members to better our processes and create a more efficient workflow </li></ul> Requirements <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 2-3+ years of experience working as a QA tester / QA professional </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> An interest in and understanding of the video game industry, particularly UGC games such as Roblox </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Good standard of written and spoken English </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Excellent attention to detail </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> The ability to concisely present complex information via bug reports </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to become quickly accustomed to our processes and procedures </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> The ability to multitask, prioritize, and work to deadlines </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> The ability to remain focused when approaching repetitive tasks </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to be flexible and adaptable during critical periods, extending and adjusting work schedule as necessary </li></ul> Bonus Requirements Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position. <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Extensive knowledge of the Roblox platform </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Previous experience using Roblox Studio </li></ul> Additional Information <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Candidates must be 18 years of age or above </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 40 hours a week; some flexibility is required during critical periods </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Remote working (Work from home); stable internet connection is required </li></ul> Compensation The compensation offered is based on experience and location and will include salary and the possibility of equity after time with us.
