We are looking for an Intake Specialist for our team. </p><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><em> This is a remote position with potential travel for meetings/collaboration into the FreedomCare hub closest to you. </em></p><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Department  &  Position Overview: </strong></p><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> As an Intake Specialist you will work closely with patients and caregivers to educate them on the application and enrollment process. You will be working closely with the Patient's Case Manager, as well as inter-departmental teams within the business to ensure a quick and efficient turn-around time to get them on Care. You will be providing seamless Customer Service experience, while ensuring that our clients are receiving the care they need. You'll pride yourself on your ability to problem solve and take ownership for each customer request ensuring that we always do the right thing for our members. </p><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Every Day You Will: </strong></p><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure a seamless, complete, and effective enrollment process for all prospective clients into the SFC program </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Be the initial point-of-contact for calls from prospective clients, caregivers or pending enrollees </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Manage a high open caseload until the enrollment process is complete </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Consistently meet monthly completed Start of Care (SOC) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Provide exceptional customer service and positive experience for potential patients/caregiver </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Regular communication with a variety of Case Management agencies regarding patient authorizations </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Navigate multiple systems and portals to determine eligibility and obtain authorization </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Regularly achieve monthly new enrollee goals </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Maintain data input, scheduling, document uploading and initiate patient enrollment confirmation or rejection communications </li></ul><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Ideal Candidate Will Possess: </strong></p><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience in high-volume inbound and outbound call environment </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Motivated to help patients/caregivers with the drive to exceed open case targets and metrics </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Must have poise and patience when dealing with clients </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to comfortably resolve issues over the telephone </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Computer proficiency required; strong typing skills and ability to leverage technology to identify, research and solve customer issues </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Keen attention detail, metrics driven, excellent time management skills </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> High empathy and collaborative team player </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Flexibility and openness as the role and responsibilities may change and/or evolve as we grow! </li></ul><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Nice-to-Haves: </strong></p><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar position is preferred </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Healthcare/startup experience </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Bilingual in Spanish, or other languages desired </li></ul><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Why work at FreedomCare? </div><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> We are here for you and committed to providing a best-in-class employee experience. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $16.00 and $20.00 an hour at the commencement of your first year of employment.
