<div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0">Description Seeking to hire a Contractor based out of Argentina or Mexico for Backend Software Engineering Services. Scope of Services: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> As a Backend Engineer Contractor, you will help the team deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You will be a key contributor within a software development team, and will craft great software and automated tests to assure the design and quality of your code. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You will also own delivery of features, independently, and will provide thoughtful input that helps with scoping and design for your team. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, you will partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design to refine ambiguous goals into clearly defined, iterative work items. </li></ul> Why you’re a great fit: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You have 3+ years of backend experience in software development and have demonstrated success working in a software as a service (SaaS) environment. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You are able to leverage your intermediate experience in Python to effectively build and deploy highly performant and well tested REST APIs and create performant data models. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Additionally, you have a firm understanding of relational databases and experience in writing SQL and optimizing data models, as well as writing and optimizing queries with scalability and performance in mind. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience working with LLMs or machine learning models is a plus but not required. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> On top of your technical skills, you are excited to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports continued improvement through code reviews and feedback. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> You take pride in your ability to identify missing requirements early in the development cycle, create and maintain performant and scalable backend systems, write resilient and testable code, and deliver on sprint commitments. </li></ul> Please note that given the nature of the contract, this role will not be eligible to participate in company-sponsored benefits. </div></div>
