Job Description: Our client develops software that makes it easy for builders to capture, visualize, and understand their job sites. As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team that will build, automate and maintain our multi-region infrastructure that makes up a robust and highly-available system. You will be hands-on with a broad understanding of container orchestration ( Kubernetes ), Infrastructure-as-Code , CI/CD , Monitoring/Alerting and GitOps workflow in addition to other DevOps methodologies. you will work with other teams to increase developer velocity and provide process improvements to ensure system efficiency, scalability, security and reliability. We're seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join us! Responsibilities: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Management of Kubernetes in development and production environments, including tooling such as Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Renovate and others. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Write infrastructure as code using Terraform/Terragrunt. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Management and administration of our AWS infrastructure. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Administration and maintenance of TeamCity and Github Actions deployment pipelines. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Handle Jira tickets pertaining to projects and tasks. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Provide procedure documentation such as runbooks, playbooks, wikis and diagrams. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Respond to production outages, triage issues by following standard operating procedures and escalation workflows. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Participate in an on-call rotation. </li></ul><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Qualifications: </div><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Excellent written and verbal English proficiency </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to execute on English instructions effectively and troubleshoot when necessary </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> BA/BS in Computer Science or relevant field, considerable weight will be given to hands-on experience and prior accomplishments </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS administration, build, release, DevOps or SRE roles. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> At least 4 years of Production experience with container-orchestration systems and tooling: ( EKS, ECS/Fargate, ArgoCD, Helm, Istio , etc.) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: ( Terraform ) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> In-depth knowledge of the AWS ecosystem. ( EC2, EKS/ECS, RDS, IAM, KMS, SQS, CloudWatch, Lambda, Config, Glue etc.) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience supporting a multi-region infrastructure in AWS is a huge plus. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools: Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana etc. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Linux server administration experience. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Expertise with at least one Scripting language (eg: Python , Bash/Shell , etc.) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience deploying, configuring, managing and automating CI/CD pipelines ( TeamCity ) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Keen eye for process improvement in the realm of DevOps/SRE (deployments, automation, security, developer velocity, etc.) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Nice to have <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> AWS Certifications </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> AWS GovCloud or GCP experience </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> CKA Certified Kubernetes Administrator </li></ul></li></ul> About the Company Odisea Cultura fue fundada bajo la creencia de que las empresas increíbles solo pueden ser construidas sobre la base de una cultura intencional cultivada por personas excelentes.
