You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive SEO roadmap that drives significant organic traffic growth and contributes to Apollo.io's revenue goals. This is a high-impact role where you'll have the opportunity to own and scale our SEO program (and team), leveraging your expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, and programmatic SEO. </p><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Define and implement a data-driven SEO strategy that aligns with Apollo’s business objectives, driving significant organic traffic and user acquisition. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Conduct regular technical SEO audits, identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure our website is optimized for crawlability, indexability, and performance. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Identify and capitalize on opportunities to scale our SEO efforts through automation, content templating, and efficient content production workflows. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Collaborate with the content team to develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with SEO goals, ensuring high-quality, optimized content. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Develop and execute a link-building strategy to increase domain authority and improve organic rankings. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Track key SEO metrics, analyze data to identify trends and opportunities, and provide regular reports to stakeholders on SEO performance and progress. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, engineering, and sales, to ensure alignment and maximize SEO impact. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of SEO specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. </li></ul><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Qualifications: </strong></p><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 7+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of success in driving organic traffic growth and achieving SEO goals, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Deep understanding of all facets of SEO, including technical, on-page, off-page, and content strategy. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong experience with programmatic SEO, including keyword clustering, content templating, and automated content generation. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Expertise in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and others. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience in developing and executing international SEO strategies, including website localization, hreflang implementation, and multilingual keyword research. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to extract insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Proven ability to lead and manage a team of SEO professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support </li></ul><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> What You’ll Love About Apollo </strong></p><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Besides the great compensation package and culture that thrives in openness and excellence, we invest tremendous effort into developing our remote employees’ careers.
