This position is responsible to participate in the contracting activities associated with Independent Contractors (IC’s) that provide delivery equipment and transport products from our clients’ location(s) to designated locations as requested by the customer. This is an entry level position. </div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Individual tasks shall include but not be limited to the following: </div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </div><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Monitor to ensure all routes are covered, IC check-in is complete and communicated to the customer, and that routes run on time. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Create route pursuant to customer requirements. Ensure IC that accepted dispatch provides the delivery services, and communicate changes to dispatch department and IC’s as needed. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Monitor dispatch board to ensure customer requested delivery times are being met. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Communicate any delays and/or problems to the customer and dispatch department. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure IC’s are providing services in the vehicle type requested by the customer. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure compliance with IC log in process and EC-mobile. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Work directly with IC’s to assist with issues they may encounter while under dispatch. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Assist in arranging for STAT coverage for customers, as needed. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> When necessary, will restructure routes as requested by the customer, to ensure on-time execution. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure IC’s are providing contracted delivery services in compliance with customer regulations. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Assist with contracting of IC’s as needed. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Complete daily service reports as required by the customer. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Create and process administrative reports and paperwork as directed. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Follow up with IC’s to ensure their paperwork is up to date, as needed. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ensure IC’s are providing services in a uniform shirt with visible ID badge, as required by customers for identification and security purposes. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Perform other duties as assigned. </li><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: </div><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Basic MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) experience required. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Proactive and resourceful. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks or demands that may be deadline driven. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Must maintain valid driver’s license and clean, functional vehicle. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to <i> lift up to 50 pounds </i> on occasion. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to work overtime as necessary. </li><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Qualifications - Experience, Education, Certificates, and Licenses: </div><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> College Degree or a High School Diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred. </li><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><b> Shift Days </b> : Monday through Friday </div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><b> Shift Hours: 5pm - 1am </b></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><b> Pay Rate </b> : from $18 - $22 per hour ( <i> Dependent upon experience level. </i> ) </div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><span> At </span><b> USPack </b><span> , our values are at the heart of everything we do, every day.
