The ideal candidate will have a strong background in image processing using OpenCV, and be proficient in working with vectors, matrix transformations, and cross-platform integration. This project-based contract requires collaboration with our device software and firmware team, so effective communication, the ability to work within distributed and diverse teams, and a self-driven attitude are essential. Key Responsibilities: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Translate and optimize a Python library into C. </li></ul><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Implement image processing techniques using OpenCV, including vector manipulation and matrix transformations. </li></ul><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Develop and maintain code across various platforms: ARM Embedded Linux, Android (JNI/JNA), iOS, macOS, and Windows. </li></ul><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Collaborate closely with the device software and firmware team to ensure seamless integration. </li></ul> Qualifications: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Proficiency in Python and C. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Extensive experience with image processing using Python OpenCV. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Skilled in vector manipulation and matrix transformations. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Proven experience in cross-platform development for ARM Embedded Linux, Android (JNI/JNA), iOS, macOS, and Windows. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently. </li></ul> Preferred Skills: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with Mediapipe. </li></ul> Confidence Gap We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don't hesitate to apply — we'd love to hear from you.
