The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in branding, graphic design, video editing, animation, and motion graphics. </p><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Brand Development: including logo design, brand expression, and brand book creation </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Video editing and animation: producing walk-through videos, advertising videos, character animations, and more </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Creation of still images for various platforms </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Graphic design: developing banners, infographics, and brochures </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Illustration and creative projects: crafting storyboards, storytelling, and innovative concepts </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Manage multiple projects with diverse strategies and aesthetics </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Effective teamwork and communication </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Collaborate with team members, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutions </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in branding, video editing, and design technologies </li></ul><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Qualifications </div><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Minimum of 5 years of experience as a multimedia designer </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience in branding, including logo design, brand development, and creating brand books </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Expertise in motion graphics and video editing (character animations, advertising videos, etc.) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to create high-quality still images, infographics, and digital content for various platforms </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Excellent knowledge of storytelling, illustration, and creative thinking for visual projects </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience working on cross-disciplinary teams and managing communication across different departments </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles for effective visual communication </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Ability to work with tight deadlines and adapt to different design aesthetics and project strategies </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Fluent in design software and ability to adapt to new technologies quickly </li></ul><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Preferred Qualifications: </strong></p><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience using AI-powered design tools for animation, graphic design, and video editing (e.g., MidJourney, Adobe Firefly) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with CapCut or other mobile-first video editing tools </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D) for creating 3D animations and renders </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Familiarity with modern video formats for social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Understanding of motion design for web and interactive digital experiences </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with web design tools and responsive media creation </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Knowledge of marketing principles and how to create content that aligns with branding and advertising strategies </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior designers </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Familiarity with project management tools for tracking deadlines and deliverables </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> English language skills are desirable but not mandatory </li></ul><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong> Compensation: </strong> CAD $1,000 - $1,500 </p><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> Additional Information </div><p style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> This offer is an agreement for services as a Contractor with a competitive fee set in CAD.
