With ongoing growth, it may take us a bit longer to get back to you. </em></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> About the role </div><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Drive revenue growth with our new customers, through product and industry expertise; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Manage negotiations and contractual agreements with our executive and legal team; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Grow your pipeline by working cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales Development; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Prepare, present and close new business through a detailed reach-out plan, various touch points, product demonstrations, virtual and in-person events and meetings; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Listen to customers, identify what success means to them, and drive growth by helping them achieve their goals with the Spare Platform! </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Provide weekly feedback  &  forecasting on all account activity, and demonstrate excellent CRM adoption for managing your pipeline and account plans. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Work closely with champions and stakeholders to develop proposals and business cases for large scale deployments. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Work closely with Marketing and Business Development team to develop account-based marketing and sales plans; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Build a deep understanding of Spare’s products and key markets, and maintain ongoing learning of new features and improvements; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Partner with and influence customers through thought leadership, industry best practices, and deep product knowledge; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Share customer feedback with Product, Engineering and Partner Success teams. </li></ul><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> About you </div><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with consultative sales for government agencies in Canada and/or USA (ideally 4+ years, but flexible for the right candidate) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with long and complex sales cycles </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Proven experience attaining quotas over 600k ARR </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Passion for and interest in Urban Planning and/or Transit (knowledge of the types of transit systems, regulations, and funding structures, to effectively support our customers and users) </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills) with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences in a personable way </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Availability to travel frequently within Canada and the USA (3 to 4 times/month) </li></ul><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> It will be considered a plus: </div><ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience selling Transit Technology </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Academic background in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Sociology, Sustainability, etc </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience in a transit tech company </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience in a transit agency </li></ul><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"><strong><em> Don’t meet every single requirement? </em></strong> Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification in the job posting. </div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"></div><div style="padding: 0; margin: 15px 0 15px 0"> At Spare, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment so we strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't believe you meet every single qualification outlined.
