The company is in the midst of hyper-growth with international offices in the US, Albania, Philippines, and India. We are seeking a Sr. Underwriter to join our Underwriting team. In this role, you will review, research, analyze, and price large deals of $1M or greater in gross annual revenue. This position is fully remote, however, will be required to work EST zone hours. Job Duties and Responsibilities: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Responsible to review and price larger deals ($1M+ gross annual revenue) considering affordability, credit, and numerous risk factors; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Add required stipulations as appropriate; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Communicate with sales reps regarding adjustments to pricing and required steps; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Discuss and update on the competitive landscape both in terms of pricing and commissions; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Attend all credit committee meetings and provide insight and opinion regarding the viability of a deal; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Train and support Underwriters. </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Review pricing and evaluation strategies including deal grading and industry-specific details; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Participate in Credit Committee meetings; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Review the work of trainees and provide insight and feedback; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Perform final review for funding, including review of all documents, research, and bank activity, as directed; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Participate in monthly portfolio review; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Participate in quarterly performance reviews including review of defaults; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> May be required to perform other tasks and duties reasonably related to job responsibilities. </li></ul> Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 3-5 years of consumer and or commercial underwriting required; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience with financial analysis required; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Experience reviewing and analyzing individual and company credit reports; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong analytical skills; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Skilled at multi-tasking; able to coordinate, organize, prioritize, and execute responsibilities in the face of conflicting priorities and unexpected situations; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM is desirable; ability to manage multiple software applications; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Effective verbal and written communication skills is a must; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Strong work ethic; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> High level of discretion. </li></ul> Compensation : <ul style="margin: 15px 0 15px 0; padding: 0 0 0 20px"><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Extremely competitive salary; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> 401(k) with company match; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Generous PTO and paid holidays; </li><li style="margin-bottom: 5px"> Opportunity to work with a smart, passionate team. </li></ul> We thank you for your interest in career opportunities with Revenued.
